White Elephant Gift Exchange Party

我出國快24年，在美國參加係裏組織的聖誕節前的禮物交換不隻一次了。今天的是最好的一次：）

 

規則如下：

 

Gathering of the White Elephants

 

How it works:

Each person chooses a number from the bowl. Order of play will be numerical.

The person who gets the #1 will start the game by choosing a gift from the table.

The person with the next number has the choice of choosing a gift from the table or “stealing” a gift from another player.

Once a gift is “stolen”, the person who “lost” their gift has the opportunity to steal from someone else or choose another unopened gift. This person may not “steal” back the gift that was just taken from them.

A gift may be stolen twice and then it is considered “safe”, and cannot be stolen again.

Once an unopened gift is chosen, play goes to the next player.

When the last numerical player has chosen their gift, the person with #1 has the opportunity to trade their gift for someone else’s gift to end the game. #1 may not trade for a gift that is “safe”.

被steal最多的禮物： 設計精美的一對mugs，一對精巧的高腳酒杯，香草味的蠟燭

 

最受年輕人喜歡的禮物： 1000 pieces的拚圖（ puzzle )
