回到家跟大家商量，有三位女士說應該要400 Credit（每家100），我說400 太多了，每天用十分鍾洗碗也不是什麽大事。最後為了照顧女士們的情緒我向房東提出了200：“Thanks for coming to check dishwasher. My wife told me that dishwasher would not work because of electricity problem. If this is case, can you give us $200 credit ？”
房東看了我message, 馬上說我要的credit 是合理的：“Ok that is fair. Sorry for the inconvenience. You never know when something like that will happen. I will send the credit through Airbnb. Thanks for your patience. Enjoy the 4th!”
我們退房後，這是房東給我寫的review:
Jxxx had a very nice group of family and friends and communicated very effectively when we had a problem with the dishwasher and were very kindly allowed us to come and service the dishwasher. It turned out it was an electrical issue and because it was the day before July 4th an electrician was unavailable. We worked out compensation for their inconvenience of not having a dishwasher and they were very understanding of the situation. We are happy they enjoyed their vacation and would love to have them back.
