不久前美中兩國外長對話,是在王毅楊潔篪三番五次求爺爺告奶奶,美國以不點名方式譴責中國好幾個星期後才舉行,雙方客客氣氣把對方罵了一遍【1】,我當時說美國的做法是“拜登政府一係列的動作都是精心計劃的,目的是給中國白眼,就是不理你,就是公開給你難堪,其目的更加惡劣,是為了告示全世界中國(政府)是個不合法的國家(政府)(illegitimate)”,因為“中國的一切行為都是為了推翻美國領頭的世界秩序(American led liberal democracy),潛台詞是美國受傷了”,中國傷害了美國人民的感情。之後拜登與習近平通話,也就是為了趕在新年之前,給習近平一個麵子,兩個多小時不知說了什麽,從公報來看就是彼此表明大家別開打(紅線)【2】,後來拜登采訪時一副腦子不好使的樣子,說他理解習近平,因為中國有中國的規矩,說不定拜登心裏真的這麽想,雖然一陣嘩然,但西方解釋說美國普世價值的出發點不變,中國種族滅絕之類的還是種族滅絕,也就掩蓋過去了。然而,美國政府接著采用與全世界對話,就是不跟中國對話的那一套,把中國晾在一邊【3】。

5. But it is only one part of the story. The United States has done much the same thing on a much larger scale. Rather than just denying businesses or countries access to its internal market, it has denied them access to the machineries that allow global markets to work.
