一封巧妙的情書 請點擊:元宵節情人節 請點擊：西方傳統婚禮習俗 明天是東方的元宵節和西方的情人節，美語壇的中西節日也將持續到這一天（請點擊參加活動 ）。想起多年前，我在一本英語雜誌上讀到的一封巧妙的英語情書，一個小夥子愛上了一個姑娘，姑娘的父親，卻不同意小夥子和姑娘的戀愛，可是小夥子卻對姑娘一往情深，小夥子給他心愛的姑娘寫了一封情書，姑娘的父親讀了以後，非常地高興，知道小夥子已經和他的女兒斷絕了戀愛關係。而姑娘呢，讀完信後，幸福洋溢著在她的臉上，她讀到了小夥子對她的愛一如從前。 一封信，為什麽會讀出兩種結果呢？這就是這封信的巧妙之處，請把這封讀兩遍吧，第一遍：先從頭至尾讀，這是小夥子專門寫過姑娘的父親看的；第二遍，隔行讀，這是寫給他心儀的姑娘的，下麵是這封英語情書。背景歌曲《Rose》分別由Bette Midler和West Life演唱，小提琴演奏是André Rieu。歌中唱到：“Some say love, it is a river that drowns the tender reed; Some say love, it is a razor that leaves your soul to bleed; Some say love, it is a hunger, an endless aching need.
