Is this University of Rochester? I know most of kids graduated around Rochester like taking Business vs. Science/Medical. So many of our kids went to work in Wall Street. So, don't worry, we do have kids not taking our steps.

It seems to me that our kids are just like us in persuing American dreems:
We (1st generation) took science, they (2nd generation) are taking medical school. Similarity: hard disciplinre without many white students.So in some way, we and they are still "hi-tech" labors! When can we Chinese get out of box?

to me, 本醫連讀 is not not that 競爭慘烈. My niece and daughters of two classmates got it. my niece also got scholarship from U of Penn, but she decided not go since she did not like to be physician at that time. 5 year later she got full scholarship from top 5 medical school again.
