Glenn Frey 簡介

Glenn Frey曾是Eagles（老鷹樂隊）的成員，算是一個集鄉村、搖滾、爵士等數長於一身的人物。Frey曾和同鄉J.D. Souther組成二重唱，創立老鷹合唱團後Frey還是常與Souther合寫歌曲（後者在1979年也有首暢銷曲"You're Only Lonely"）。老鷹合唱團的特色是整齊優美的和聲，這些和聲編排大多是Frey的功勞（尤其是樂團成立初期），因此團員們給了他一個外號叫“The Lone Arranger”（西部片和卡通《獨行俠》的諧音）。

1982年樂團解散後成員紛紛單飛，其中以Henley與Frey最受關注。Frey推出過四張專輯《No Fun Aloud》、《The Allnighter》、《Soul Searching》、《Strange Weather》加上一張精選、一張現場實況。雖然專輯成績、評價略遜於Don Henley，但是他唱的幾首單曲卻讓人津津樂道，尤以"The One You Love"為經典代表作。（摘自網絡）
