三幕歌劇《托斯卡》是意大利作曲家普契尼創作的三大著名歌劇 />(《托斯卡》、《藝術家的生涯》和《蝴蝶夫人》)之一。賈科薩與伊利卡合作編劇，1900年1月 4日在羅馬的科斯坦齊劇院首次公演。 這時因對普契尼有反感的人刻意騷擾與破壞，首演很難算是成功的。後來，三月在米蘭史卡劇院在托斯卡尼尼指揮下上演；五月在熱那演出時，卡羅素也參加。此劇就逐漸為人所知，盛演不衰。此劇不僅把普契尼的聲譽提升到巔峰，而且被推崇為意大利歌劇史上的不朽傑作。/>/>
