Column Switching Technique with Post Column Reactor as Detector.

Good to know that Europe is more open to Chinese, that is what I felt during my nearly 10 years living there, and also something that I really appreciate about European.
Unification is kinda gesture for the 2 sides of China, average people won't benefit from it, just like return of HongKong, mainlander still need a piece of permit paper for a tour spending money there.

Under that circumstance, if you wanted to stay, you just had to follow the rules. Documentation at that time was useless. I moved to SF in 1988, the situation is totally different since then. I will get to that point in the future.
Concerning about Taiwan, I personally don't believe two sides will be united even I wish that will be happened. The problem is how far the China will go as far as democracy. Even we don't like the Taiwanese style, but for China to move to that stage is impossible. There is a big culture difference between two sides. As time goes by, the gap will be even wider. When I have time, I am going to discuss this in the future. Thank you.

Same thing could happen to a mainlander in Hong Kong as well. We like to generalize and blame something we cannot do about it. Wouldn't it be more productive if we know how to utilize the system and achieve our goals? Or take certain action for protect us. I know of a surgical nurse who was repeatly abused by a surgeon in the operating room. He kept it to himself for over two decades. (if he were a Chinese maybe he could take the same excuse). When he left his jobs, he showed all his documentation on the surgeon and sued both the surgeon and the hospital and won millions. My point is, do something productive about it. At least register and vote.
Another random thought on the future of Taiwan...
Obviously you are a very proud Chinese, probably more Chinese than I who is a southerner and can never speak mandarin well. (I can never tell the difference between "bed" and "boat" in Chinese pronounciation) Chinese government probably need to do more job to promote Chinese culture to the younger generation Taiwanese. Exchange students, scholarships, etc will be helpful. If the younger generation can be proud to be a Chinese, unification will take care of itself.
