I learned only a little bit on Game Theory. Game Theory focuses on reactions. For instance, if A does this, what is the best strategy for B? Based on B's possible responses, A may choose a different strategy. In this decision making process, there is indeed an issue of maximizing the overall benefit while sacrificing the temporary or local beneift.
If one makes a decision without waiting for others' responses, it is simply a decision making process, even if with partial information. If a decision is made with complete information, it is a matter of valuation, e.g., whether you want to work as a volunteer or in a bank. In reality, most of the time, people have incomplete information and decision making becomes complicated. In my opinion, there is overlap between game theory and decision making. But I am not an expert on this.
Looks that lawyers are studying game theory too. Actually many books on this start with the criminal's dilemma. So lawyers, business men and mathematicians converge here. :-)

首先:意味深長!
其次:如果是我,我會開車去,因為我覺得既然開頭了,冥冥中自有它的道理。
最後:盡管我們知道所有列舉的道理,我們還是在重複著錯誤,因為我們是凡人。

oh, almost forgot the most important thing, commenting on your article: I loved loved loved it! I find it most amazing that you can 1)catch 2) process and 3) sum up into coherent theories ... these random thoughts and its been an inspirational read for me. Thanks

Tell you what, I'm hooked on game theory these days, been reading books (intro ones) on game theory for a while now. Still feel like a beginner. So this next question may be dumb, just bear with me =) : 部分信息下的決策問題 --> isnt that a branch of game theory? Why do you say 這倒也不是game theory的問題? I'm not just asking cuz i'm bored, it's kinda important to me actually
