chic, I like your attitude about fate; it is much more optimistic than mine, though i do not think mine is pessimistic. I think i just want to believe that when you believe in fate, you might be more content with what you have instead of dreaming of reaching for the moon while ignoring what you have already owned. I like what you said that ... "then the fate will cease to be and by that we changed our fate."

haha... that depends on how you define/interprete "fate". to me, fate is some pre-destined happenings dictated by our temperaments. however, when we are driven enough, we will do things out of character, then THE FATE will cease to be and by that we changed our fate. xixi, fair? ;)

I believe that we can change our fate, if we try hard enough. I think that only when one is so confused so lost that one lets the nature take its course - whatever that is. I believe that we should always try to get the people/things that we want - even if we end up falling on our faces, at least there is no regrets.
I have never listened to Cold Play before - heard it's really a hit. Maybe I should check it out some.
And I never heard of Happy Endings either - seems like a neat movie from my quick Google - I'll keep an eye on it. thanks!

thank you for sharing the beautiful song. do you believe in fate? sometimes no matter how hard you tried, you cannot get what you want--an idea sung by the band Cold Play. I will watch this movie if it is shown locally. Have you seen the movie "Happy Endings". it is shown in some big cities, like LA and NY. I am waiting for it to be shown in our area.
