eon欠妥

已經有人指出英詩翻譯用詞不宜重複（sage). 另外，eon是個大詞，主要用於學術，意指時間的無限或者世代，平常時候用帶有調侃的意味。依我的理解，天地之悠悠涵蓋時間、空間的無限，所以用infinity這樣的小詞更樸實恰當一些。寫作忌用生僻的詞。My 2 cents.

Eon: 
an indefinite and very long period of time, often a period exaggerated for humorous or rhetorical effect.
"he reached the crag eons before I arrived"
ASTRONOMYGEOLOGY
a unit of time equal to a billion years.
GEOLOGY
a major division of geological time, subdivided into eras.
"the Precambrian eon"
