絢麗時尚的光塗鴉正在成為目前最流行的街頭藝術，就像焰火一樣給人以深刻的影響。從汽車閃燈、自行車燈到不斷變換色彩的LED燈，都是攝影師鏡頭撲捉的目標。他們利用鏡頭做畫筆繪出了一幅幅令人驚歎的藝術作品。
光塗鴉也被稱為光繪畫、光攝影，是一種在黑暗環境中利用相機對移動的光源進行長時間曝光而創造出特殊影像效果的攝影方法。有時候甚至要曝光超過一個小時，同時還需要放慢快門速度。這種技術看似奇特，實際簡單，以虛幻的風景為畫布，以發光的物體為素材，再借用普通的數碼相機和三角架就可以做到。
這些光塗鴉作品是由來自德國柏林的Jan Wöllert和Jörg Miedza兩人完成的，他們也是LAPP攝影工作室(Light Art Performance Photography) 的創立者。從2007年開始，兩人利用業餘時間拍攝完成了大量攝影作品。
Jan Wöllert和Jörg Miedza選用的是2110萬像素的佳能EOS 5D Mark II相機，而且這些作品也沒有經過任何電腦處理。
