近四年沒有推出全新國語專輯的張學友，二十六日將推出全新國語專輯《在你身邊》，最近忙著籌備世界巡回演唱會，張學友仍在今天來到台北參加《在你身邊》全亞洲發片記者會。
在主持人陶晶瑩的穿針引線下，張學友除了透露首度擔任專輯製作人的甘苦外，現場更連線人在北京的老搭檔製作人歐丁玉，並為《在你身邊》專輯打分數。身兼監製、製作總監、製作人的張學友，自嘲二零零六年被歐丁玉“拋棄”，一肩扛起製作人重任，在發片記者會上首度聽到歐丁玉的背書稱讚，鬆了口氣露出開心的笑容。日前傳出《張學友左手舊疾復發，狀況嚴重》的報導，新聞不但延燒至大陸、香港，環球唱片也不停接到歌迷關切電話，接到手軟，這次為了證明張學友的左手仍是“一尾活龍”，現場特地播放VCR，畫麵剪輯張學友拍攝MV時背女主角、抓楓葉等使用左手的畫麵，這段“左手哥精華版”也逗得全場哈哈大笑。
首度擔任製作人，張學友在《在你身邊》專輯嚐試多元曲風及不同唱腔，他表示：“新專輯有一種更自己的感覺，咬字唱腔會有一點點的不同，對我來說是種改變，也希望歌迷能喜歡。”首波主打《好久不見》勾起許多人對友情、愛情的回憶，第二波主打《在你身邊》在張學友的詮釋下則充滿親情的暖意，張學友表示當時聽到詞曲就認定“這是送給小女兒的歌”。早先“歌神截肢事件”被傳得滿城風雨，張學友表示，確實有這麽回事，不過左手有點肌肉痿縮，並沒有到截肢那麽嚴重，近期的康複治療也非常有效。
