不論斷人 — 馬太福音讀經隨筆 第7章

馬太福音第七章耶穌在繼續教導門徒們在日常生活中要遵循耶穌的話並去做。

第1—12節耶穌教導我們不要論斷人。要做到不論斷人，開始的時候可能不容易做到，但當我們真正謙卑下來，承認自己也是罪身且和別人一樣爛的時候（聖經告訴我們沒有一個義人，我們自己的罪似梁木，而別人得罪我們隻是個刺而已），我們就會慢慢停止論斷人，去活在耶穌的饒恕裏和自己對別人饒恕裏。
太7:1 你們不要論斷人、免得你們被論斷。
"Don't judge, so that you won't be judged.
太7:2 因為你們怎樣論斷人、也必怎樣被論斷。你們用甚麽量器量給人、也必用甚麽量器量給你們。
For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.
太7:3 為甚麽看見你弟兄眼中有刺、卻不想自己眼中有梁木呢。
Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye?

第24—29節耶穌強調，門徒們要聽他的話並去行。
太7:24 所以凡聽見我這話就去行的、好比一個聰明人、把房子蓋在盤石上。
"Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock.
太7:26 凡聽見我這話不去行的、好比一個無知的人、把房子蓋在沙土上。
Everyone who hears these words of mine, and doesn't do them will be like a foolish man, who built his house on the sand.
