我們當靠聖靈行事 - 加拉太書讀經隨筆 第5章

加拉太書第五章第16-26節，保羅給了一些例子說明什麽是肉體的情欲，諸如奸淫、汙穢、邪蕩、拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、紛爭、異端、嫉妒、凶殺、醉酒、荒宴等都是肉體的情欲，保羅說做這等事的人將不能繼承神的國。保羅然後勸告主裏的弟兄姐妹們應當順著聖靈行事，而不是順著肉體行事，這樣就不會放縱肉體的情欲了；我們凡屬基督耶穌的人是靠聖靈活著，被聖靈引導，因此已經把肉體連同肉體的邪情私欲一同釘在十字架上了。這樣聖靈就會在我們身上結出甜美的果子：仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、溫柔、節製。保羅最後勸勉弟兄姐妹們不要貪圖虛名彼此挑釁互相嫉妒，而是要多結果子。

 

加5:16 我說、你們當順著聖靈而行、就不放縱肉體的情欲了。
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh.
加5:17 因為情欲和聖靈相爭、聖靈和情欲相爭．這兩個是彼此相敵、使你們不能作所願意作的。
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.
加5:18 但你們若被聖靈引導、就不在律法以下。
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
加5:19 情欲的事、都是顯而易見的．就如奸淫、汙穢、邪蕩、
Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,
加5:20 拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、紛爭、異端、
idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
加5:21 嫉妒、〔有古卷在此有凶殺二字〕醉酒、荒宴等類、我從前告訴你們、現在又告訴你們、行這樣事的人、必不能承受 神的國
envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
加5:22 聖靈所結的果子、就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,
加5:23 溫柔、節製．這樣的事、沒有律法禁止。
gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
加5:24 凡屬基督耶穌的人、是已經把肉體、連肉體的邪情私欲、同釘在十字架上了。
Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
加5:25 我們若是靠聖靈得生、就當靠聖靈行事。
If we live by the Spirit, let's also walk by the Spirit.
加5:26 不要貪圖虛名、彼此惹氣、互相嫉妒。
Let's not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.
