神為什麽不讓基督徒的肉身永生?

信徒們最終的家在天上。即使在今世，活著的也不再是那個肉體的"老我"，而是基督在裏麵活著，因為其罪身已與基督同釘十字架。在今世，身體是神的殿。彼得稱身體為帳篷，也就是說，信徒們像野營者一樣，隻是在地球上寄居的客旅而已，早晚要回到基督身邊，而不是永遠住在現在的這個肉體裏。

保羅在羅馬書裏說肉體裏無良善，肉體乃是罪身，雖然信徒們在世期間向罪已死而向神是在耶穌基督裏活著，但是肉身畢竟仍是血氣罪身，神說他的靈不會在這樣的身體裏永遠住著。

將來信徒們被耶穌複活的身體將不再與現在的肉體一樣，也就是說不再是罪身，而是與神一樣聖潔的身體，不再有疾病與死亡。

況且，義人因信得生，也就是說基督徒憑信心活著，而不是憑眼見。若有人加入基督教是因為看到基督徒現在的肉身能夠永生，而不是因為相信耶穌的死與複活，那豈不是亂套了嗎？神的意思是在末日摧毀現在的這個天地，創造新的天地; 複活的信徒們生活在新的天地裏，在那個天地裏，將都是永生者。

創6:3 耶和華說、人既屬乎血氣、我的靈就不永遠住在他裏麵、然而他的日子還可到一百二十年。
Yahweh said, "My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; yet will his days be one hundred twenty years."
羅6:3 豈不知我們這受洗歸入基督耶穌的人、是受洗歸入他的死麽。
Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
羅6:4 所以我們借著洗禮歸入死、和他一同埋葬．原是叫我們一舉一動有新生的樣式、像基督借著父的榮耀、從死裏複活一樣。
We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
羅6:5 我們若在他死的形狀上與他聯合、也要在他複活的形狀上與他聯合．
For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;
羅6:6 因為知道我們的舊人、和他同釘十字架、使罪身滅絕、叫我們不再作罪的奴仆．
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
羅6:7 因為已死的人、是脫離了罪。
For he who has died has been freed from sin.
羅6:8 我們若是與基督同死、就信必與他同活．
But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him;
羅6:11 這樣、你們向罪也當看自己是死的．向神在基督耶穌裏、卻當看自己是活的。
Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
彼後1:13 我以為應當趁我還在這帳棚的時候提醒你們、激發你們．
I think it right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you;
彼前2:11 親愛的弟兄阿、你們是客旅、是寄居的．我勸你們要禁戒肉體的私欲．這私欲是與靈魂爭戰的。
Beloved, I beg you as foreigners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
來11:13 這些人都是存著信心死的、並沒有得著所應許的、卻從遠處望見、且歡喜迎接、又承認自己在世上是客旅、是寄居的。
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and embraced them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
羅7:18 我也知道、在我裏頭、就是我肉體之中沒有良善．因為立誌為善由得我、隻是行出來由不得我。
For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good.
加2:20 我已經與基督同釘十字架．現在活著的、不再是我、乃是基督在我裏麵活著．並且我如今在肉身活著、是因信神的兒子而活、他是愛我、為我舍己。
I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
加3:26 所以你們因信基督耶穌、都是 神的兒子。
For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.
加3:27 你們受洗歸入基督的、都是披戴基督了。
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
加5:24 凡屬基督耶穌的人、是已經把肉體、連肉體的邪情私欲、同釘在十字架上了。
Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
羅1:17 因為神的義、正在這福音上顯明出來．這義是本於信、以致於信．如經上所記、『義人必因信得生。』
For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."
 林後5:7 因我們行事為人、是憑著信心、不是憑著眼見。
for we walk by faith, not by sight.
 林後5:8 我們坦然無懼、是更願意離開身體與主同住。
We are courageous, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.
 林後5:9 所以無論是住在身內、離開身外、我們立了誌向、要得主的喜悅。
Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him.
來10:38 隻是義人必因信得生、〔義人有古卷作我的義人〕他若退後、我心裏就不喜歡他。』
But the righteous will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him."
啟22:5 (新天新地裏) 不再有黑夜．他們也不用燈光日光．因為主神要光照他們．他們要作王、直到永永遠遠。
There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.
