從聖母院的大火說說教堂的作用

作為文化上的瑰寶，藝術裏的珍品，巴黎聖母院被大火燒壞了，謂之惋惜。據維基百科，失火點位於教堂閣樓處，大火導致其尖頂坍塌，中後部的木質屋頂完全被燒毀，而其石製的拱頂大部分得以保存。作為 “法國和歐洲文化的一個象征”， 在得以修複之前，據說不再對遊客們開放，因此這會讓未來的很多遊客不禁失望。

對於基督徒而言，由於神不住人手所造的殿，所以從主的福音角度上說，巴黎聖母院與普通的教堂一樣: 作用就是傳揚耶穌基督的福音，主的信徒們通過在教堂聽道，聚會和讚美而使福音得以鞏固，從而在主的愛裏接出果子來。其實凡具備這些功能的地方都可稱之為教堂，比如家庭教會。聖經裏說，神不住在教會的建築物裏，因為他不住人手所造的殿，而是住在他自己親手所造的殿。人的身體就是神親手所造的，因此，我們的身體才是神真正的殿，因為神的聖靈住在我們的心上。無論教堂多麽華麗，無非是悅人的眼目和展示人的建築能力(即人的榮耀)而已。

說到敬拜，基督徒需要用聖靈和真理來敬拜, 聖靈住在我們心裏，而真理是耶穌。因此，耶穌曾說，拜父既不在這山上，也不在耶路撒冷(耶路撒冷有豪華的聖殿)。敬拜用聖靈和耶穌足以，不論是在教堂還是不在教堂!

耶穌隻在聖殿裏麵講道嗎？耶穌的門徒隻在聖殿裏聽道嗎？耶穌講道可謂隨時隨地: 在船上，在河邊，在山上，在坐席的時候，在行路的時候，在門徒家裏......天父賜耶穌聖靈是沒有限量的，他講的都是從父那裏聽來的真理，他的講道都是在敬拜父和榮耀父! 

有專門的教堂傳道聽道，是為了傳揚和鞏固主的愛與福音; 同樣，隨時隨地的傳道聽道，也是傳揚和鞏固主的愛與福音。可見，福音的傳揚是不拘一格的! 隻是注意這道必須是持守耶穌基督的道，如果不是，就不要歡迎它。

徒7:48 其實至高者並不住人手所造的，就如先知所言。
However, the Most High doesn't dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says,

徒17:24 創造宇宙和其中萬物的神、既是天地的主、就不住人手所造的殿．
The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn't dwell in temples made with hands,

林前3:16 豈不知你們是神的殿、神的靈住在你們裏頭麽?
Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you?

林前3:17 若有人毀壞神的殿、神必要毀壞那人．因為神的殿是聖的、這殿就是你們。
If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God's temple is holy, which you are.

林前6:19 豈不知你們的身子就是聖靈的殿麽．這聖靈是從神而來、住在你們裏頭的．並且你們不是自己的人．
Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own,

弗2:22 你們也靠他同被建造成為神借著聖靈居住的所在。
in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

約4:21 耶穌說、婦人、你當信我、時候將到、你們拜父、也不在這山上、也不在耶路撒冷。
Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father.
約4:23 時候將到、如今就是了、那真正拜父的、要用心靈和誠實拜他、因為父要這樣的人拜他。
But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers.
約4:24 神是個靈．〔或無個字〕所以拜他的、必須用心靈和誠實拜他。

羅8:9 如果神的靈住在你們心裏、你們就不屬肉體、乃屬聖靈了．人若沒有基督的靈、就不是屬基督的。
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.

約二1:9 凡越過基督的教訓、不常守著的、就沒有神．常守這教訓的、就有父又有子。
Whoever transgresses and doesn't remain in the teaching of Christ, doesn't have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son.

約二1:10 若有人到你們那裏、不是傳這教訓、不要接他到家裏、也不要問他的安．
If anyone comes to you, and doesn't bring this teaching, don't receive him into your house, and don't welcome him
