沒錢買LV,Show個自己做的“包包”---Purse Cake
最近作造型蛋糕有點上癮,基本每周都會給自己找個Project做,停不下來了。。。
偶爾看看流壇都在Show高級皮包LV之類的,有點眼紅,這次就選個皮包造型的蛋糕做做。
夏天裏,清爽白色打底,用點鮮豔的橙色花花,底邊和側麵用了同一色係的亮棕色。各位覺得我的配色如何?
蛋糕方子來自Foodnetwork的Paula,就是那個白頭發愛大聲笑的南
Paula's Lemon Cake
Cake:
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, at roomtemperature
1 cup sugar (2 cups sugar in the originalrecipe. I reduced the sugar amount.)
4 eggs
3 cups sifted all purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Tomake the cake
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Greaseand flour 3 (9-inch) cake pans.
2. Using an electric mixer, cream butteruntil fluffy.
3. Add sugar and continue to cream well for6 to 8 minutes. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. Add flour,baking powder and milk alternatively tocreamed mixture, mix well.
5. Add vanilla and continue to beat untiljust mixed.
6. Level batter in the baking pan, and bakefor 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Cool in pans 5 to 10 minutes. Invertcakes onto cooling racks. Cool completely.
蛋糕是10寸方形,烤好後分成三等分,抹上果醬夾心,摞成一摞,矩形。
用刀把蛋糕四周切割出圓弧,頂部切出坡度,用Buttercream做Crumb-coating,蓋上白色Fondant,初具雛形。
Fondant 染成棕色,給皮包加滾邊和底邊:
本來想用很抽象的幾何圖形,無奈工具不湊手,如果用手畫手切,又太費時間。動用懶人的招數:貼花花~~我的模子和刻好的橙色花:Daisy和Apple Blossom

我最近的裝飾蛋糕很少用CakeMix,不是人變得勤勞了,而是不得不試驗尋找新的適合Fondant裝飾的方子。馬上要參加一個CakeShow,比賽規定不得使用CakeMix和Cake Dummy。。。。受益者還是老公和他的同事們,如果我每次考蛋糕水平穩定的話,嗬嗬。
