To: 德利  君，

What a surprise to have received your painting done in its 'oriental' delicacy. The delight of it's nature has brought the joy so much than any of the gifting for me to welcome the new year. Thanks! I looked at it for little longer than a while, during which what had happened in 2008 flashed back to my mind.

Today is the first day of 2009. As a Canadian Doctor I met said, "the world slow-down has offered good opportunity to look at ourselves and the world around us in simplicity," of which I thought is so well brushed in the imagery that you created in the fine lines, with those emotional dots, and white sapce margined for to leave the room for readers' imagenations for the work.

Your talent showed in its art of brush-painting that can only handed down from the traditions made me stunned. But maybe I am tired from my work today, that it seems blue instead of black. Correct me if it is wrong, the color impresses me with the style often seen in paintings from Japan? As I am zero-knowlodgable in this unique art.

Anyway, I liked it so much that I tried in my way to put up a few lines to match with it. Let your painting and verses lead the Cyber-conversation and us into 2009.  May you enjoy it, thanks again for your mail, so welcoming and joyful.

纖纖細細工筆款
悠悠幻幻山笛傳

鬆柏雲中嶠簷飛
竹籬蔥翠山腰半
石經輕斜暖陽輝
小舟微搖入水來

獨橋孤影遠案淺
無言極目天地間
君影栩栩峰嵐前
白雲低首燕數點

道是東風西天彩
卻是美麗也簡單
黑白線點潑墨染
自然田園寰宇再
