天淨沙。 秋思 [元] 馬致遠
[注釋]
枯藤：幹枯的藤條。昏鴉：暮色黃昏中的烏鴉。
古道：荒涼廢棄，人跡罕至的道路。
　　　斷腸人：漂泊在外，遠離家鄉，悲傷到了極點的人。

[譯文]枯藤纏繞著老樹，老樹上落著黃昏歸巢的烏鴉，
小橋下有潺潺的流水，橋那邊坐落著人家，
離鄉的遊子騎著瘦馬，迎著西風走在這古道上。
太陽就要落山了，思鄉已極的人兒還流落在遠方。

Craws crowed, dry and dizzy,

a tree grown old and in vine cold

小橋流水人家。

Cottages sighted, dim and stoned,

the river flows, the saga beheld

古道西風瘦馬，

Stood roadside, windy yet age-old,

a horse in tears ( gona‘ be sold )

夕陽西下，

Painted yellow, Westward,

there is a sun fallen

斷腸人在天涯。

Framed skyline, lonesome,

here a soul broken

就陪你玩一把古典詩詞翻譯. 以下是我初擬的中譯英. 馬致遠的這首《天淨沙•秋思》流傳千古, 我的譯作太不成熟, 還可再商榷與推敲,隻怕見笑了:

枯藤老樹昏鴉，小橋流水人家，古道西風瘦馬．夕陽西下，斷腸人在天涯．

Crows at dusk, withered vines, hanging on old tree,
Cottages nearby, sparkling stream past a narrow bridge,
A bony horse walks on an ancient road in west wind.
The sun is slowly sinking in the west side.
A traveler with a broken heart is at the edge sky.

Your words really add value to it, and to my enjoyment of doing it. Acctually its was done in a day when i was not very happy to myself. but came from no where when i was driving on the high way in a foggy day. Oct last year.
i am not sure, i can do ro not to another one of the kind.
