回鄉偶書

 

賀知章

 

少小離家老大回，

鄉音無改鬢毛衰。

兒童相見不相識，

笑問客從何處來。

Accidental Poem

 

He Zhizhang

 

I left home young
but returned old,

There 's no change
of my local accent.

The kids saw me but
didn't know me,

And smilingly asked
where the guest came from.

桃花溪

 

張旭

 

隱隱飛橋隔野煙，

石礬西畔問漁船。

桃花盡日隨流水，

洞在清溪何處邊。

day long,

閨中少婦不知愁，

春日凝妝上翠樓。

忽見陌頭楊柳色，

悔教夫婿覓封侯。

understand what sorrow means,

The lady, well
attired, climbed up her chamber on a spring day.

Suddenly seeing the
new green of the willows along roadside,

She regretted to
have urged her husband to go seeking a ministerial post.
