孩子趣事 - 兒子講車價

今天全家一起去車行訂了一輛敞蓬的甲殼蟲(Beetle Convertible)。和Salesman講價時，他要和經理去請示。Salesman 從經理處回來後給我降了一點價格。我想讓Salesman再降$300。Salesman有些
為難，我說： I want you to reduce the price by another $300, then I will sign the contract. Now go talk to your manger. I will let my son to go with you, he will help you talk to the manager. 我的十歲的兒子，和 Salesman 一同去了經理的辦公室，我們則在外麵等著。通過玻璃牆我看到兒子人模人樣的坐到經理的對麵和經理談話，Salesman 則站在一邊。兩分鍾後，兒子和Salesman一起出來了，經理已經同意降價，還在辦公室向我們友好地招招手。我問兒子他說了什麽。他說： "I only said one sentence: 'since this is Christmas period, would you be generous enough to reduce another $300 on the price?' And he did."

我並沒有告訴兒子講什麽，他居然想到了用聖誕節來軟化經理的心。Salesman 告訴我今天他從一個十歲的孩子那裏學到了一點說服人的技巧。
