望江南·超然台作 — 蘇軾
春未老，風細柳斜斜。
試上超然台上看，半壕春水一城花。
煙雨暗千家。
寒食後，酒醒卻谘嗟。
休對故人思故國，且將新火試新茶。
詩酒趁年華。
Transcendent Pavilion by Su Shi
Spring is not yet old,
Its breeze still sways willows, to and fro,
Ascending the Pavilion, I behold —
The moats half-filled, the town in floral glow,
Mist-valanced homes in tiers below.
Followed the Fest of Food-Cold*,
Sobering up, my mind sinks in woe,
“How dare I pine for home afore chums?” I self-scold,
For a new brew, on a new fire I blow,
O let life on us verse and wine bestow.
