Adriana: Thanks Helli, that was very poetic.

Helli: I know, I’ve been reading some lovely poetry and all these words and descriptions are stuck in my head.

Adriana: I enjoy poetry too, I recently did a class on figures of speech. You just used a simile didn’t you ?

Helli: Did I ? I didn’t notice, what is a simile?

Adriana: It’s a figure of speech where you compare two things using the words “like” or “as”. There are others, would you like me to teach you more?

Helli: That would be great, thanks !
