有這麽一些人啊，好象就是跟“中國人”有點過不去。逮住甚麽機會就要跳出來損兩句。這也看不慣，那也不好。弄些個冠冕堂皇，似是而非的理由。論證起來，邏輯混亂。更何況黑白不清，人情不近。（昨天meiyisi在另一處無端說我給人扣帽子，我連夜縫好幾頂sorting－hat，今天那出來，讓那夥人試戴）。
回複綠豆紅茶的評論: sorry i mis-read. however, i don't think the blogger here was blaming though. maybe more of criticizing and self-criticizing? the point i want to make is that u.s. did lots of horrible things, including the iraqi war, that doesn't mean china should do the same. In the city i live, every monday there were quite a few people showing a sign says "911 was an inside job". most of american i know just think they were crazy and i didn't see any mid-fingers. also, i am 100% against iraqi war, but i support the invation of afganistan. i think u.s. had every moral reasons for that.

I was not talking about "bombing the chinese embassy". I was refering to 911 by saying "In 2001, someone bumbed two buildings in the US".
The point is the US over-react all the time, but it is China (or Chinese people) who were blamed for over-reacting.
there is no doubt that sharon stone is an idiot and a-hole. but if you are always excited and attracted to protest against idoits and a-holes, says sth. about yourself, an a-hole magnet?

Oh, one more thing. If "interesting" does not mean "interesting", why did people in Hollywood strongly disagree with SS's comments? Why did some American people called her "an idiot" on the internet? Why did SS herself apologized?
Do you really think it is necessary to defend her at this point?

OK, let's talk about "over-reacting".
In 2001, someone bumbed two buildings in the US and caused the death of roughly 5 thousand people. In two years of time, US bumbed two countries, killed their leaders, and caused the death of roughly 600 thousand people.
In 2008, an actress cursed China after a natural disaster. Chinese people were hurt and decided not to watch her movies. We also expressed our anger on the internet. Nobody harmed that actress physically, and some people were thinking about forgiving her after she apologized.
Now explain to me why do you think it is China who "over-reacted", thus losing her 大國風範?
Oh, by the way, before I am asked to improve my English, you may be interested to know that English is not my native language. I am writing in English because I don't have the software to type Chinese.

I disagree with certain views but say whatever you want to say. It doesn't bother me at all.
Have confidence in yourself, your family and other people. If your mother is not a prostitute, there is rare chance that other people would think or believe she is just because someone says so.

I can understand that many people feel attached to their homeland. Personally I believe in humanity, support the weak and do the right thing. I will always support what I believe is right and I don't belive standing by certain people just because they happen to come from the same country or same area. That will not be fair.
Personally I do not like the extreme views such as "if someone calls your mother prostitute blah blah....." Most time, people won't go that extreme calling your mother a prostitue. They may simply disagree with what your mother does. Fact is: no one is perfect and disagreement is part of life. So, please try not to over react. If you are really so convinced that this person is calling your mother prostitue, then it will depend on whether your mother is really a prostitute or not. If she is, then that's a fact, and you have to accept that. (Please note that I am not judging whether being a prostitue is good or not.) Person who calls your mother prostitute when she is not(albeit chance is small) is cheap. Do you really want to lower yourself to that level calling every man and his dog in the neighbourhood to have open debate whether she is a prostitute or not?

good article. but the truth is, 99.9999999999% of the 義憤填膺激昂憤慨的 chinese were:
1. hypocritical: ignores the ugly and stupid comment on taiwan's earthquake;
2. 激昂 in mouth only: if it had any tiny influence to their daily life, they would shut up completely, not mention doing anything in action.
3. in summary, they were the ugly chinese and should be re-named ug-nese instead to not degrading the chinese race.
傻婦是隻是個沒見識的豬腦智障兒，可她是在國際EVENT上貶低和誹謗中國人是得了天災的報應。加上她豁命博出位的三級片得過奧四卡，所以豬頭沒人性的言論還是造成了很壞的國際影響。中國人就是在國外息事寧人習慣了，所以鬼子們覺得中國人好欺負。隻要中國人不給鬼子們機會，他們想欺負也欺負不上。正如人雲：“隻要你不把頭低下，就不會有人騎上來！”
現在知道為什麽中國人民為什麽反應那麽大了吧？
BY THE WAY,死皮兒胳膊辭職當奧運導演又能小泥鰍翻大江嗎？他導的電影都是東抄西抄，一個電影本科學位搞了十幾年才搞到，還是在一個不上排名榜的爛校。我花費了熱愛電影一生的熱情都堅持看不完他拍的一個片子，所以，死皮兒來不來，活皮兒來不來，WHO CARES？
