夏天迷失的鳥兒，來到窗前歌唱，又從那兒飛走。
秋天金黃的葉兒，沒有歌兒可唱，輕歎一聲抖落在我的窗口。
Stray birds of summer come to my window to sing and fly away.
And yellow leaves of autumn, which have no songs, flutter and fall there with a sigh.

世界上那群卑微流浪的人們，在我的詩中留下你們的腳印。
Troupe of little vagrants of the world, leave your footprints in my words.
“漂泊流浪離家鄉，
幾粒微塵淚幾行。
入我詩中留腳印，
有深有淺有多長？” -- 感想，不是翻譯

世界對著它的情人脫下它廣袤的麵罩。如單曲一支又如永恒一吻，它變得那樣渺小。
The world puts off its mask of vastness to its lover.
It becomes small as one song, as one kiss of the eternal.

是大地的眼淚，使她的笑容如花一般綻放。
It is the tears of the earth that keep her smiles in bloom.

威武的沙漠熱烈地燃燒，隻為愛那一葉綠草。綠草笑著飛走，把她的頭輕搖。
The mighty desert is burning for the love of a blade of grass who shakes her head and laughs and flies away.

如果你錯過太陽時流淚哭泣，你也與星星失之交臂。
If you shed tears when you miss the sun, you also miss the stars.

舞動的河水，沙粒在你的途中乞求你的歌聲和流動呢。你會背負它們跛行的重擔麽？
The sands in your way beg for your song and your movement, dancing
water. Will you carry the burden of their lameness?

她熱望的臉，出沒在我的夢中，如夜雨一般。
Her wistful face haunts my dreams like the rain at night.

有一回我們做夢我們成為陌生路人。我們醒來才發現我們原來彼此相親。
Once we dreamt that we were strangers.
We wake up to find that we were dear to each other.

悲傷在我的心裏漸漸被平安替代，就像寂靜的樹林被夜色覆蓋。
Sorrow is hushed into peace in my heart like the evening among
the silent trees.
