加拿大男子在美國旅遊期間，聲稱9歲女兒被人綁架。紐約警方接案後找回女童遺體，經調查，發現死者父親有重嫌，遭警方拘捕並控以二級謀殺及藏匿屍體罪。
訛稱女兒遭兩男綁走
據外媒報道，紐約州警於21日表示，9歲女童加拉尼斯（Melina Galanis Frattolin）的父親弗拉托林（Luciano Frattolin），於19日晚10時許報警，聲稱女兒在87號州際公路22號出口附近可能遭綁架。20日清晨，警方在上州蒂康德羅加（Ticonderoga）靠近佛蒙特州邊界搜查。上午10時50分，紐約州警在池塘淺水區發現加拉尼斯的遺體。
據了解，加拉尼斯與父親於7月11日從加拿大合法入境美國度假，原定7月20日返回蒙特利爾（Montreal）。梅琳娜與母親居於加拿大，其父母自2019年起分居。

閉路電視顯示，加拉尼斯於19日下午5時30分在薩拉托加斯普林斯（Saratoga Springs）與父親同行，6時30分與母親通話，當時“看似健康，未表示有任何壓力”。警方相信弗拉托林在通話後至晚上10時報警前謀殺女兒。
弗拉托林最初聲稱因小便在停車場停車，前往樹林後返回發現女兒失蹤，稱見到一輛白色貨車南行，其後又指兩名男子強行把女兒帶走。
州警表示，經調查證實白色貨車的說法不實。女孩死因待驗屍結果，動機仍在調查。警方稱弗拉托林無犯罪記錄或家庭暴力背景，度假行程包括康州及紐約市。
