2009年12月10日晚，由《時尚COSMOPOLITAN》雜誌主辦的“2009時尚COSMOPOLITAN年度女性人物盛典”在北京舉行。Maggie Q、李冰冰、徐靜蕾、姚晨、小野麗莎、朱哲琴、李靜、李湘、高圓圓、李少紅、葉錦添等眾多演藝嘉賓的到場，而首次出席女性盛典的孔東梅、吳小莉；以及作為評委和往屆獲獎人的楊瀾、陳曉楠、王潮歌、俞渝、王秋楊等老朋友的出席也為典禮增加了色彩與熱度。
震撼人心的表演環節成為今年女性盛典的一大亮點。朱哲琴、小野麗莎帶來了難得一見的國際級表演。殘疾人舞蹈家廖智的舞蹈，更讓現場氣氛達到了高潮。這位在汶川地震中失去雙腿的舞蹈家，用她並不完美的身體演繹出最完美的舞蹈表演。她的青春氣息，對待生活的熱情深深感染了到場嘉賓，她的舞蹈也贏得了現場長久的掌聲。
“時尚 COSMOPOLITAN年度女性人物盛典”到今年已經是第三屆，今年的評選仍舊以“女性成就夢想”為主題。現場頒出了十個“年度時尚女性大獎”和五個年度單項獎。沈祥梅、薑傑、李靜、廖智、嚴旭、李湘、朱哲琴、郭建梅、劉索拉、王莉麗等十位傑出女性脫穎而出，獲得“年度時尚女性大獎”；“年度單項獎”則由Maggie Q、李冰冰、姚晨、範然、範欣分別獲得，其中Maggie Q獲得“年度時尚女星”大獎。獲獎嘉賓涉及財經、文學、藝術、音樂、傳媒等多個領域。
