數十名美國婦女8月23日在洛杉磯一座海灘上舉行了半裸遊行，抗議政府頒布禁裸法規。參加遊行的婦女全都赤裸上身，她們表示希望以此表達對警方逮捕在公共場所裸胸婦女的憤怒。有趣的是，一名男子混入到了遊行隊伍當中，雖然他也赤裸了上身，但警方卻對其熟視無睹。
