神從創立世界以前就在基督裏揀選了我們 - 以弗所書讀經隨筆 第1章

以弗所書第一章第1-6節，保羅開頭就稱呼以弗所的弟兄姐妹們為聖徒，且稱他們是在耶穌基督裏有信心的人。保羅說我們的神已經在耶穌基督裏賜給了我們在天國裏每個屬靈的福氣，這是因為神從創立世界以前，就在基督裏揀選了我們，使我們在他麵前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵；神愛我們，他就按著自己的意誌和喜悅預定了我們，讓我們通過耶穌基督成為了他的兒女，這是神的恩典，是他在他的愛子耶穌基督裏所賜給我們的。頌讚神這充滿榮耀的豐富恩典！

 

弗1:1奉神旨意，作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，寫信給在以弗所的聖徒，就是在基督耶穌裏有忠心的人。

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To God’s holy people in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: 

弗1:2願恩惠平安，從神我們的父，和主耶穌基督，歸與你們。

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 

弗1:3願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父神，他在基督裏，曾賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣。

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 

弗1:4就如神從創立世界以前，在基督裏揀選了我們，使我們在他麵前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵。

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 

弗1:5又因愛我們，就按著自己意旨所喜悅的，預定我們，借著耶穌基督得兒子的名分，

he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 

弗1:6 使他榮耀的恩典得著稱讚。這恩典是他在愛子裏所賜給我們的。

to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
