我隻知道耶穌並他釘十字架 — 哥林多前書讀經隨筆 第2章

哥林多前書第二章，保羅說他當初去哥林多傳福音的時候，並沒有以多好的口才或者智慧去宣揚主的見證。保羅說這是因為他曾經下定決心傳福音的時候不知道別的，而隻知道耶穌基督並他釘十字架。保羅說，他說話講道不是用人的、在這個世界裏智慧的、有說服力的言語，而是用聖靈和神大能的明證。這樣弟兄們的信心不是建立在人的智慧上，而是建立在神的能力上。可見，保羅傳的福音是何等純正，傳福音的方式是何等簡單！就是隻傳耶穌和他為什麽被釘十字架，並不用什麽世界裏的道理或智慧去說服人信耶穌。

林前2:1 弟兄們、從前我到你們那裏去、並沒有用高言大智對你們宣傳 神的奧秘。
When I came to you, brothers, I didn't come with excellence of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God.
林前2:2 因為我曾定了主意、在你們中間不知道別的、隻知道耶穌基督、並他釘十字架。
For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
林前2:3 我在你們那裏、又軟弱、又懼怕、又甚戰兢。
I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
林前2:4 我說的話講的道、不是用智慧委婉的言語、乃是用聖靈和大能的明證．
My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
林前2:5 叫你們的信不在乎人的智慧、隻在乎 神的大能。
that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
