使外邦人蒙神悅納 — 羅馬書讀經隨筆 第15 章

羅馬書第十五章第14—24節，保羅說他深信羅馬的弟兄們充滿了良善，有充足的諸般福音知識，也能彼此勉勵。保羅也提醒弟兄們他是為外邦人作基督耶穌的仆人的，借他所傳的福音得救的外邦人應該是被聖靈所潔淨的，是蒙神所悅納的。這樣，保羅在耶穌基督裏就有可誇的。保羅說他傳福音的時候，除了耶穌啟示他的道，他什麽都不敢講。從耶路撒冷到以利哩古，他到處傳了基督的福音。保羅說他的目標是不在福音已被傳過的地方傳福音，免得建造在別人的根基上。但如今在這些地方，保羅說他已經沒有可傳福音的地方了，而且這好幾年，他特想在去西班牙的時候，路上可以經過羅馬與羅馬的弟兄們同住一段時間。可見，雖然有人已在羅馬傳過福音，但是保羅仍然特別想去羅馬堅固弟兄們的福音。

 

羅15:14 弟兄們、我自己也深信你們是滿有良善、充足了諸般的知識、也能彼此勸戒。

I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.

羅15:15 但我稍微放膽寫信給你們、是要提醒你們的記性、特因　神所給我的恩典、

But I write the more boldly to you in part, as reminding you, because of the grace that was given to me by God,

羅15:16 使我為外邦人作基督耶穌的仆役、作　神福音的祭司、叫所獻上的外邦人、因著聖靈、成為聖潔、可蒙悅納。

that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest the Good News of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

羅15:17 所以論到　神的事我在基督耶穌裏有可誇的。

I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.

羅15:18 除了基督藉我作的那些事、我甚麽都不敢提．隻提他藉我言語作為、用神跡奇事的能力、並聖靈的能力、使外邦人順服．

For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Christ worked through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,

羅15:19 甚至我從耶路撒冷、直轉到以利哩古、到處傳了基督的福音。

in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God's Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the Good News of Christ;

羅15:20 我立了誌向、不在基督的名被稱過的地方傳福音、免得建造在別人的根基上．

yes, making it my aim to preach the Good News, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build on another's foundation.

羅15:21 就如經上所記、『未曾聞知他信息的、將要看見．未曾聽過的、將要明白。』

But, as it is written, "They will see, to whom no news of him came. They who haven't heard will understand."

羅15:22 我因多次被攔阻、總不得到你們那裏去．

Therefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you,

羅15:23 但如今在這裏再沒有可傳的地方、而且這好幾年、我切心想望到士班雅去的時候、可以到你們那裏．

but now, no longer having any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come to you,

羅15:24 盼望從你們那裏經過、得見你們、先與你們彼此交往、心裏稍微滿足、然後蒙你們送行。

whenever I journey to Spain, I will come to you. For I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may enjoy your company for a while.
