要看自己看的合乎中道 — 羅馬書讀經隨筆 第12章

羅馬書第十二章第3—8節，保羅憑著神所賜給他的恩勸弟兄們不要看自己過於所當看的，而是要照著神所賜給各人的信心看得合乎中道。因為神在他的恩典裏賜給各人的天賦是不同的。保羅說若一個弟兄所被賜的是說預言的天賦，就當照著所賜信心的程度說預言（保羅這裏可能蘊含了一層意思，就是說預言的時候注意不要說超出信心程度的預言）；若所被賜的是做執事的天賦，就專一做執事。也就是說無論被賜予了任何天賦，諸如教導，勸勉，施舍，治理或憐恤，就當好好地運用此天賦服務主裏的弟兄姐妹們。由此看來，主裏的弟兄們並不會在很多方麵都有天賦，因此不要覺得自己什麽都能幹或都需要幹，正如我們一個身子上有好些肢體，這些肢體也不都是一樣的用處，而是各自發揮各自的作用，在基督裏組成一個身體，發揮自己應有的用處。

羅12:3 我憑著所賜我的恩、對你們各人說、不要看自己過於所當看的，要照著 神所分給各人信心的大小、看得合乎中道。
For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
羅12:4 正如我們一個身子上有好些肢體、肢體也不都是一樣的用處。
For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function,
羅12:5 我們這許多人、在基督裏成為一身、互相聯絡作肢體、也是如此。
so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
羅12:6 按我們所得的恩賜、各有不同．或說預言、就當照著信心的程度說預言．
Having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, if prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith;
羅12:7 或作執事、就當專一執事．或作教導的、就當專一教導．
or service, let us give ourselves to service; or he who teaches, to his teaching;
羅12:8 或作勸化的、就當專一勸化．施舍的、就當誠實．治理的、就當殷勤．憐憫人的、就當甘心。
or he who exhorts, to his exhorting: he who gives, let him do it with liberality; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
