沒有看見就信的有福了 — 約翰福音讀經隨筆 第20章

約翰福音第二十章耶穌在複活的當天晚上（三日前耶穌被釘死在十字架上），向門徒們顯現。顯現的時候多馬不在。後來那些看見了耶穌顯現的門徒就對多馬說“我們已經看見主了”。多馬卻說“我除非看見他手上的釘痕，用指頭探入那釘痕，又用手探入他的肋旁，我總不信”。過了八日，耶穌又向門徒們顯現，這次多馬也在。耶穌叫多馬看摸了他的手，又摸了他的肋旁，多馬這才相信主確實複活了。耶穌對他說“你因看見了我才信，那沒有看見就信的，有福了”。同樣，信耶穌，不需要親身看見耶穌道成肉身的樣子。那沒有看見就信了耶穌的，有福了！

約20:24 那十二個門徒中、有稱為低土馬的多馬．耶穌來的時候、他沒有和他們同在。
But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, wasn't with them when Jesus came.
約20:25 那些門徒就對他說、我們已經看見主了。多馬卻說、我非看見他手上的釘痕、用指頭探入那釘痕、又用手探入他的肋旁、我總不信。
The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."
約20:26 過了八日、門徒又在屋裏、多馬也和他們同在、門都關了．耶穌來站在當中說、願你們平安。
After eight days again his disciples were inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace be to you."
約20:27 就對多馬說、伸過你的指頭來、摸（摸原文作看)我的手．伸出你的手來、探入我的肋旁．不要疑惑、總要信。
Then he said to Thomas, "Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don't be unbelieving, but believing."
約20:28 多馬說、我的主、我的 神。
Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"
約20:29 耶穌對他說、你因看見了我才信．那沒有看見就信的、有福了。
Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed."
