隻要成就你的意思 — 路加福音讀經隨筆 第22章

路加福音第二十二章第40—46節講述的是耶穌受難前向天父禱告，問天父能否將這十字架的杯撤去。馬太福音，馬可福音也記錄了這一段。耶穌禱告說：“父阿，你若願意就把這杯撤去，然而不要成就我的意思，隻要成就你的意思”。耶穌知道自己按經上所預定的就要麵臨十字架的刑罰了，心裏極其傷痛。耶穌受刑罰不是為了他自己，而是為了我們這些罪人啊。十字架上的刑罰是何等的痛苦，耶穌要用他的肉身和寶血來替我們擔當。當然耶穌明白，父不會把這杯撤去的，因為他來到世上本是為此而來的，正如耶穌在第37節所說：“這話必應驗在我身上，因為那關係我的事必然成就”。

路22:37 我告訴你們、經上寫著說、『他被列在罪犯之中。』這話必應驗在我身上、因為那關係我的事、必然成就。
For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: 'He was counted with transgressors.' For that which concerns me has an end."
路22:40 到了那地方、就對他們說、你們要禱告、免得入了迷惑。
When he was at the place, he said to them, "Pray that you don't enter into temptation."
路22:41 於是離開他們、約有扔一塊石頭那麽遠、跪下禱告、
He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and he knelt down and prayed,
路22:42 說、父阿、你若願意、就把這杯撤去．然而不要成就我的意思、隻要成就你的意思。
saying, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."
路22:43 有一位天使從天上顯現、加添他的力量。
An angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.
路22:44 耶穌極其傷痛、禱告更加懇切．汗珠如大血點、滴在地上。
Being in agony he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.
路22:45 禱告完了、就起來、到門徒那裏、見他們因為憂愁都睡著了．
When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples, and found them sleeping because of grief,
路22:46 就對他們說、你們為甚麽睡覺呢．起來禱告、免得入了迷惑。
and said to them, "Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation."
