悔改的洗禮 — 路加福音讀經隨筆 第3章

路加福音第三章第1—6節說施洗約翰按神的話的指示來到約旦河一帶宣講悔改的洗禮，目的是讓人悔改歸向耶穌，相信耶穌的人罪就可得赦免。施洗約翰就是舊約裏所預言的先知以利亞，他來是要預備耶穌的道修直耶穌的路，讓眾人明白耶穌就是要來的那個彌賽亞。

路3:2 亞那和該亞法作大祭司、那時、撒迦利亞的兒子約翰在曠野裏、神的話臨到他。
in the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John, the son of Zacharias, in the wilderness.
路3:3 他就來到約但河一帶地方、宣講悔改的洗禮、使罪得赦．
He came into all the region around the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for remission of sins.
路3:4 正如先知以賽亞書上所記的話、說、『在曠野有人聲喊著說、預備主的道、修直他的路。
As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Make ready the way of the Lord. Make his paths straight.
路3:5 一切山窪都要填滿、大小山岡都要削平、彎彎曲曲的地方要改為正直、高高低低的道路要改為平坦。
Every valley will be filled. Every mountain and hill will be brought low. The crooked will become straight, and the rough ways smooth.
路3:6 凡有血氣的、都要見神的救恩。』
All flesh will see God's salvation.'"

徒19:4 保羅說、約翰所行的是悔改的洗、告訴百姓、當信那在他以後要來的、就是耶穌。
Paul said, "John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the one who would come after him, that is, in Jesus."
