這人比那人倒算為義 — 路加福音讀經隨筆 第18章

路加福音第十八章第9—14節耶穌通過比較一個法利賽人和一個稅吏的禱告講了一個比喻，目的是要說明在這個法利賽人和這個稅吏之間誰可以算為義人。那些仗著自己是義人的人就是自以為義的人，比如法利賽人，他們覺得自己做的比別人好而瞧不起別人，禱告的時候說什麽一周能做到禁食兩次，凡所得的都捐上了十分之一。羅馬書說他們想要立自己的義，就是不服神的義了。而那個稅吏在殿裏禱告的時候遠遠的站著，連舉目望天也不敢，隻捶著胸說“神阿，開恩可憐我這個罪人”。可見，這個稅吏能認識到自己是罪人，而法利賽人卻不能。因此，耶穌說這個稅吏比那個法利賽人倒算為義了，因為凡自高的必降為卑，卑的必升為高。

路18:9 耶穌向那些仗著自己是義人、藐視別人的、設一個比喻、
He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others.
路18:10 說、有兩個人上殿裏去禱告．一個是法利賽人、一個是稅吏。
"Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.
路18:11 法利賽人站著、自言自語的禱告說、 神阿、我感謝你、我不像別人、勒索、不義、奸淫、也不像這個稅吏。
The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this: 'God, I thank you, that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
路18:12 我一個禮拜禁食兩次、凡我所得的、都捐上十分之一。
I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.'
路18:13 那稅吏遠遠的站著、連舉目望天也不敢、隻捶著胸說、 神阿、開恩可憐我這個罪人。
But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn't even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!'
路18:14 我告訴你們、這人回家去、比那人倒算為義了．因為凡自高的、必降為卑．自卑的、必升為高。
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted."
羅10:3 因為不知道神的義、想要立自己的義、就不服神的義了。
For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
