這不是木匠的兒子麽 — 馬太福音讀經隨筆 第13章

馬太福音第十三章第53—58節說耶穌回到家鄉在會堂裏教導鄉親們天國的真理並行異能，但鄉親們感覺被冒犯了，覺得這不就是那個木匠的兒子麽，哪來的這本事呢，他們一家人我們都認識都很普通啊，因此他們不信他。他們之所以不信他是因為他們隻看到了耶穌的肉體還是那個肉體，但看不到耶穌身上已經有了大能的聖靈。盡管耶穌行了很多異能和神跡奇事，他們還是不信。

太13:54 來到自己的家鄉、在會堂裏教訓人、甚至他們都希奇、說、這人從那裏有這等智慧、和異能呢。

Coming into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, "Where did this man get this wisdom, and these mighty works?

太13:55 這不是木匠的兒子麽．他母親不是叫馬利亞麽．他弟兄們不是叫雅各、約西、〔有古卷作約瑟〕西門、猶大麽．

Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

太13:56 他妹妹們不是都在我們這裏麽．這人從那裏有這一切的事呢。

Aren't all of his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all of these things?"

太13:57 他們就厭棄他。〔厭棄他原文作因他跌倒〕耶穌對他們說、大凡先知、除了本地本家之外、沒有不被人尊敬的。

They were offended by him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house."
