照你的信心給你成全了 — 馬太福音讀經隨筆 第8章

馬太福音第八章第5—13節，一個百夫長求耶穌醫治他一個癱瘓的仆人。百夫長說“主阿，你到我舍下我不敢當。隻要你說一句話，我的仆人就必好了”。耶穌聽後很驚訝，就誇讚說“我實在告訴你們，這麽大的信心，就是在以色列中我也沒有遇見過”。於是耶穌對百夫長說“你回去吧，照你的信心給你成全了。那時他的仆人就好了”。我發現這個地方是信心這個詞第一次出現在和合本聖經中。羅馬書說信心是神所給，且當一直吃耶穌的糧的時候，信心就會增長，此乃聖靈的果子之一。

太8:5 耶穌進了迦百農、有一個百夫長進前來、求他說、
When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him,
太8:6 主阿、我的仆人害癱瘓病、躺在家裏、甚是疼苦。
and saying, "Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented."
太8:7 耶穌說、我去醫治他。
Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."
太8:8 百夫長回答說、主阿、你到我舍下、我不敢當．隻要你說一句話、我的仆人就必好了。
The centurion answered, "Lord, I'm not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
太8:9 因為我在人的權下、也有兵在我以下．對這個說、去、他就去．對那個說、來、他就來．對我的仆人說、你作這事、他就去作。
For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and tell another, 'Come,' and he comes; and tell my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
太8:10 耶穌聽見就希奇、對跟從的人說、我實在告訴你們、這麽大的信心、就是在以色列中、我也沒有遇見過。
When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, "Most certainly I tell you, I haven't found so great a faith, not even in Israel.
太8:13 耶穌對百夫長說、你回去吧．照你的信心、給你成全了。那時、他的仆人就好了。
Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed." His servant was healed in that hour.
羅12:3 我憑著所賜我的恩、對你們各人說、不要看自己過於所當看的．要照著神所分給各人信心的大小、看得合乎中道。
For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
提前1:14 並且我主的恩是格外豐盛、使我在基督耶穌裏有信心和愛心。
The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
彼後1:1 作耶穌基督仆人和使徒的西門彼得、寫信給那因我們的神和〔有古卷無和字〕救主耶穌基督之義、與我們同得一樣寶貴信心的人．
Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained a like precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:
帖後1:3 弟兄們、我們該為你們常常感謝神、這本是合宜的．因你們的信心格外增長、並且你們眾人彼此相愛的心也都充足．
We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you towards one another abounds;
加5:22 聖靈所結的果子、就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,
加5:23 溫柔、節製．這樣的事、沒有律法禁止。
