省察自己

聖經新約裏有幾個地方提到說基督徒要省察自己。省察自己什麽呢？哥林多前書11章28節說在吃聖餐之前，人要自己省察，前麵的22節到27節則做了鋪墊，說了吃聖餐前要省察什麽：餅是主的身體，為我們舍在了十字架上；杯是主用他的血與我們立的新約；主說門徒們要經常吃這餅喝這杯，這樣就會想起他，記住他為我們做成的工作。主是聖潔的，為了我們的罪死在十字架上，替我們受了懲罰，作了挽回祭，讓我們得以成聖，成為神的兒女，獲得永生。吃聖餐的時候每個門徒都需要省察自己是否明白餅和杯的這個意義，若不明白，就是對不住主所舍的身體和主十字架上所流的血。

上帝通過耶穌赦免了罪人，這是對門徒的愛。因此，耶穌在上十字架之前給門徒們留下一條新命令：“乃是叫你們彼此相愛。我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣相愛”。並且耶穌打比喻說他是葡萄樹，我們是枝子，叮囑門徒們這些枝子要始終長在葡萄樹上，這樣才能結果子。因此，門徒們需要經常省察自己：裏麵是不是有光明所結的果子，是不是有聖靈所結的果子：仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、溫柔、節製。若沒有這些果子，則需要省察自己是否長在了葡萄樹上。

For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
林前11:27 所以無論何人、不按理吃主的餅、喝主的杯、就是幹犯主的身主的血了。
Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a way unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
林前11:28 人應當自己省察、然後吃這餅、喝這杯。
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
林前11:29 因為人吃喝、若不分辨是主的身體、就是吃喝自己的罪了。
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body.
 林後13:5 你們總要自己省察有信心沒有．也要自己試驗．豈不知你們若不是可棄絕的就有耶穌基督在你們心裏麽。
Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don't you know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified.
路11:35 所以你要省察、恐怕你裏頭的光或者黑暗了。
Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn't darkness.

約13:34 我賜給你們一條新命令、乃是叫你們彼此相愛．我怎樣愛你們、你們也要怎樣相愛。
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.

約13:35 你們若有彼此相愛的心、眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了。
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
加5:22 聖靈所結的果子、就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,
加5:23 溫柔、節製．這樣的事、沒有律法禁止。
gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
弗5:9 光明所結的果子、就是一切良善、公義、誠實．
for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,
約15:5 我是葡萄樹、你們是枝子．常在我裏麵的、我也常在他裏麵、這人就多結果子．因為離了我、你們就不能作甚麽。
I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
約15:6 人若不常在我裏麵、就像枝子丟在外麵枯幹、人拾起來、扔在火裏燒了。
If a man doesn't remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
