一身勤儉惜流光，

還把西狂刺舊裳。

非是繡衣乃繡性，

翁心惕惕記麻桑。

Frugal and diligent, I cherish fleeting light,
Yet dare inscribe pride on my old shirt--bold and bright.
Not threads I weave, but soul—with needle and art,
This old heart stays wary, mindful of mulberry’s part.
