春詩致友人 -- Spring Poem to My Dear Friend

美國好友曾經是輕舟的中文學生，但多年以來，我們更是知己。

每隔一段日子，我們必小聚暢談。

今日，春陽明媚的中午，與友人一起午餐，相談甚歡。午餐後，依依作別。。。

夜晚燈下寫中英詩歌贈友人 - 感謝一如既往的友情！

 

The sparrow brings good tidings           雀兒報喜訊

The flower core spreads fragrance       花蕊吐芳芬 

My friend, meeting with you -                友朋相聚敘

is as pleasant as spring breeze             如沐春之風

 

Through times of thick and thin              同甘共苦日

Through memories of tears and joy       憂喜交加憶

You have been there for me                  君與吾同在

and lending ears to listen to me             關注與傾聽

 

Today, the sun shone bright and clear   清朗春陽照

The flower sparkled with radiant cheer   花兒晶瑩笑

The magpie sang near                            喜鵲歡唱鬧

A blessed time to share                          福樂好時光

 

My friend, you are a gift in sight           友朋乃神賜

sent by God, for that I find                   知己是福氣                  

with you I can confide                          與友吐心思

and pray with you side by side            同禱於靈裏
