父親節主日的禱告

今天父親節主日，輕舟很榮幸地在活水教堂為父親們祈禱。禱告詞是教會同工寫的，輕舟今晚隨筆將禱告文翻譯為中文，並分享如下：

Father --   天父

Bless the man who chooses to walk according to Your Word  祝福遵從您話語的父親

Help his family grow to know You more.   幫助他的家人更好地認識您

May the choices he makes strengthen the bonds of love  願他的選擇加深愛的紐帶

As your blessings upon them pour.   願您的福杯滿溢

 

Touch the man who questions the course his life has taken  感動那些還未選擇上帝的父親

Bring him back to the truth of Your Word  帶他回到您的話語中

That his children may see his repentant heart  讓他的孩子們看到他的懺悔

And hold fast to what they have heard.  並切切聽從您的話語

 

Nurture the man who still walks alone   看顧獨行的父親

Direct him in the paths he should take  帶領他行走到他當行的路上

Help him to grow in obedience and faith -  幫助他在信仰和順從中成長

A tru?ly strong father to make.   成為靈命堅強的父親

?

Honor the man who has gone on before 尊重已離世的父親

And left a legacy of blessings and grace 以及他傳承下來的祝福和恩惠

May his family remember with fondness and love  願他的家庭成員在溫暖和愛中紀念

The dad that none can replace   這無可代替的父親

 

May Your love and peace rest upon all the lives of all the father's and their families on this day as we honor their commitment.?
