Fruits of the Poisonous Tree (Synopsis)

The author selected a case as a cross section in analyzing how court decisions are made in a Chinese court. Other controversial topics including the death-penalty, colliery accidents, were also described in this story. “Fruits of the poisonous tree” shows that a decision, which seems derived from a sound procedure, might be valid according to the law but invalid in terms of justice because it is the fruit of a poisonous system.
