檸檬洋蔥烤雞晚餐 - Lemon and Onion Roasted Chicken Dinner
我家院裏一年四季都有, rosemary, sage, oregano, 檸檬, 用它們烤雞很香, Costco的甜洋蔥也是一袋一袋地買, 這些東西多吃總是好的.

雞用大量鹽和胡椒裏裏外外都抹上, 冰箱過夜, 第二天洗淨, 擦幹,
烤盤底上墊洋蔥片, 雞外麵抹上橄欖油, 鹽和胡椒, 擠上檸檬汁,
肚子裏塞進以上香料, 和一個切半的檸檬, 綁好腿, 放在洋蔥片上, 雞的皮上蓋上檸檬片, 進預熱 400F的烤箱烤1.5 小時. 取出後歇10分鍾再切塊, 撒歐芹碎就好了.
雞肉很嫩很細, 很有水份,很有味道.

每次用烤箱我都會充分利用, 用同烤箱烤一個蔬菜, 這樣就不用在爐子上忙啦,
把冰箱裏的蔬菜找來, 切片, 拌橄欖油, 鹽和胡椒, Rosemary, 蒜粒, 最後 20分鍾放進去一起烤, 雞好了,菜也好了.

麵包機版酸麵包- light sourdough bread
我的麵包機可以做酸麵包, 味道也很不錯, 就是要兩道程序, 先用麵包機做酸引子, 然後再做麵包. 我覺得也可以用別的麵包機做, 隻是酸引子在外麵發酵 再用它做麵包.

做了一個沾醬: 橄欖油, 葡萄醋, 迷迭香(rosemary), Thyme, Oregano, 蒜粒, 檸檬皮, 鹽,胡椒,
把香料,蒜粒,鹽, 在石盅(mortar and pestle)略搗一搗把香味放出來,再加油和醋.

12”鑄鐵鍋裏放一杯糖, 6 TB 黃油燒化, 加入約4LB 蘋果塊, 我沒削皮, 趁機給孩子們吃多點纖維, 如果講究一點, 該削掉皮, 把蘋果拌勻, 在鍋裏燒一段時間, 糖跟黃油有點焦香, 熄火,
用一快買的派皮蓋上蘋果, 刷上蛋液, 撒上粗糖, 用刀在皮上畫幾道好透氣, 進375F烤箱, 烤20-25分鍾, 表麵金黃就好了. 跟冰其淋吃最好, 我沒有了, 用了罐裝的鮮奶油,
