Ladies' Night

我們社區有一批太太們,十幾個,每月第3個星期五有一個小聚會,大家在一起,喝喝,吃吃,玩一種遊戲叫"LCR", left, center & right, 不動腦子的,主要是大家在一起說說笑笑,聊天,講孩子們的事,街坊的事,當然也有LG的事...還玩一點小錢.

我不是每月去,但這次是我做host,因為大多數是白人,我這次就搞了一個,Fiesta 式樣的,因為客人一來,就不能拍照,加上很忙,也顧不得拍照,就把一些前麵的東西貼一貼:

喝的:

Cabernet Sauvignon:



Sangria 1:

1 bottle of Merlot
1/4 sugar
1/4 c triple sec
1/2 c brandy
1/2 c each of orange juice and lemon juice
1/2 each of orange, lemon, lime, sliced thin

put orange, lime and lemon slices into a pitcher, add sugar, pound a little with a wooden handle of a spatula, add the rest ingredients and chill.



Sangria 2:

1 bottle of Sauvignon Blanc
2 c of white grape juice
4 mint leaves pound with ice cubes and water, use water only.
2 c of frozen rasberry

mix all in a pitcher and chill



Margarita: 沒來的及拍照.

2 c tequila
1 c lime juice
1 c lemon juice
1/2 c sugar
2 c triple sec
2 c ice cubes or more




Rose water flavored ice tea:

Southwest cheese fondue:

1 lb of mixed cheddar and jack cheese
1/2 c prepared salsa
1 bottle 12-oz corona beer
1 tb tequila
1/2 tsp cumin
1 clove garlic
1 tb corn starch

rub fondue pot with garlic, heat the bear and tequila in the fondue pot, add cheese and corn starch mixture,cumin, until all melt.



dippers:

pita bread chips
tortilla chips, blue corn and white corn
crusted french bread
kielbasa sauage, browned in oven, did not get a picture of it.

Shrimp ceviche:

2 lb cooked shrimp
4 lime juice
4 lemon juice
2 orange juice
2 tomatoes
1 sweet onion
1 Enlish cucumber
2 serano chilie pepper
2 avocados
1 bunch of cilantro






Chicken Quesadillas:

Tyson cooked chicken, chopped
cheddar and jack cheese
flour tortilla



Chocolate fondue:

bitter sweet chocolate and heavy cream (1:1)



Dunkers:
Nilla Wafer
Lady fingers
Strawberry
banana
