一個加州大媽的一天三項運動----how i was attacked by the kool-aid man

聖誕前兩周的周末總是有點忙，愛美麗準備鋼琴表演，醫院和一些朋友的party。

昨天早上五點起來，和小夥伴們抱團練力量。

然後去downtown跑了每年傳統的5k。我給愛美麗也報名了，但是她十點有鋼琴表演，在家臨時抱佛腳，lol。所以我帶了爸媽去。

按理說這個比火雞節那個在公園草地上的好跑，而且沒有坡，但是沒有火雞節跑得快，上周的CIM馬拉鬆還是有影響，今天起來覺得腿好酸，哈哈。成功衛冕年級組第一名，嘻嘻。

爸爸給我拍和grinch的合影，還有終點，很熱鬧，很多假雪，以前愛美麗很喜歡，現在娃大了，感慨一下。

然後趕去參加愛美麗的鋼琴表演。她老師讓她準備一首更難的，她在家裏也練得好好的，但是臨了還是怯場，彈了一首簡單一點的。我看著其他孩子都彈得非常好。心裏安慰自己，沒有人能比愛美麗騎車快，哈哈哈。以己上駟對彼下駟的意思，lol。

下午回來收拾一下，晚上去參加了醫院的party

今年愛美麗要求去參加我們醫院的聖誕party。
這是愛美麗第一次作為我的guest參加。老邁經過多年終於卸任了。

下午愛美麗和我一起換衣服。她還替我化了妝。這是我第一次享受我閨女給我服務。

我這條裙子，是二手店買的，12塊錢。 我現在覺得這些衣服穿過一次就不會再穿了，場合也少，不願意花錢。

隻要堅持減脂增肌身材好，披個麻袋都好看。還省錢。

所以最好的投資，永遠是自己的健康。哈哈

愛美麗一走進party就說這麽fancy你為啥早點不帶我來。嗬嗬。

她穿了自己最喜歡的裙子，是day dress，還挎著維尼小熊的包包，和環境格格不入，但是我想who cares，我娃高興就行。拍照時候我說把包包拿下來吧，她不肯，說這是她outfit的一部分。哈哈。她還遇到從小看她的兒科醫生，把我笑死了。

不怕菜簡單粗糙，怕的是美國人要學意大利人。一道道菜上。每一道都是很少一點點。我早上我做力量，跑了5k，看了愛美麗鋼琴表演，早就饑腸轆轆。好不容易熬到第四道上了羊排好小一塊，愛美麗還拿去吃了。
九點半才吃到第五道，早就過了我們睡覺的時間。愛美麗吵著要走了，我一定要等魚。好難吃。幹巴巴的。
沒有等甜點就走了。

回來的路上，愛美麗說以後再也不來了，我跟愛美麗說，所以那些看上去很光鮮的事情，未必真的如你想象，嗬嗬。

下麵是她昨天下午去party之前寫的。

Hello everybody. 'Tis I, the great Emily.

Today my mother is treating me like a PEASANT and making me blog on something with PICTURES. And I also did a rehearsal for piano and it sucked because it was really hard and I almost died. My mom doesn't believe me.

Anyways, tonight I get to go to a super fancy fabulous extragavant wonderful no calorie grass fed keto dinner party! WOW! It's gonna be with a bunch of adults and doctors and stuff. If I make friends with them then maybe it'll be easier for me get into med school, and to become a neurologist. Recommendations and all that! It's very cool.

And below me you can see my mom lifting a pink ball of some sort. Don't know what she's doing there but she's obviously proud of it. Then there's a dog, and a grinch. The grinch's dog. The dog's grinch. I don't know I wasn't there I was practicing for my RECITAL THINGY!!!

Then you can see how my mom got FIRST IN HER AGE GROUP! WOW! Then at the bottom, there's me absolutely selling in my recital. Sigh. The problem with the recitals and stuff is that the piano is different than the one I have at home! The one on the stage had way less pushback on the keys and was way easier to press, which meant I had to push so much lighter for pianissimo! It was kind of annoying and my left hand was playing too loud.

I also spilled red ink all over my hand. It wouldn't wash out, and I looked like I was personally and violently attacked by the Kool-Aid man. I did what I had to do. 

Anyways that's everything I did today. Quick summary:

Mom went to run with the grinch and won

My left hand is too loud
