It is a good day today

Woke up, turned on the computer, open Outlook, there is an email from FL.

A unit is rented. $575 for this one bedroom unit. PM suggested I change the carpet after I bought it, I told her to clean it first to see how it looks.

Also expecting application for another unit.

Thanks for the good news, I replied. It has been really slow.

I talked to my friend Peter yesterday. Peter told me he noticed rental market improved recently. There are people moving into FL again, it seems. Peter rented out a number of units recently, but still has some vacancies. Peter told me once he rented out all of his units, he will look at buying again.

I need to rent out three of these four to survive. HOA fees are very high in FL, because of high insurance costs.

On the other hand, there are constantly new foreclosures coming to the market.
