When I came to North America as a student several years ago, I bought a pretty old red Alfa Romeo from my professor. The professor joked that girls would love to ride in it. Unfortunately the sweet spot was reserved by a Chinese fellow, who happened to be a heavy smoker. Even if we drove with windows down, the smoking smell was still in the car. In the winter, it was so cold that the dude was considerate enough to ask me to pull over on the shoulder, and smoked for a while outside the car. I felt guilty and uncomfortable to let him sacrifice in the cold field. After struggling internally several times, I decide to make a simple DIY as the excuse of door lock problem. As you can see from the picture, there was a chain with a padlock on the right side door. Unfortunately, this simple DIY invention was very short-life because the parking lot patrol warned that it's a safety issue. So I had to glue a maple flag and a five-star flag next to each other to cover these two holes, which made the little red pony look like a diplomat's collector.
