Year round

Year round September we have school,
For the first time ever,
Way back in the summer,
We had school never.
October is a fun month,
Because of Halloween,
Running round the doors,
Collecting candy.
November we have thanksgiving,
Sitting down with everything,
From mashed potatoes to gravy,
With the main part: the turkey.
On December near the Christmas tree,
Getting presents for you and me,
I received some nice presents,
My dad and mom have lemonade and tea.
January morning nice and bright,
Might be freezing but still I might,
Go sledding down the cold driveway,
Dressing up quite nice and tight.
February, the second month
Valentine’s day is soon,
Making cards with hearts on them,
Butterflies emerge from cocoons.
March has a symbol,
That has 4 leafs,
It is a clover,
nice and neat.
April is rainy,
And showers give flowers,
Mayflowers give pilgrims,
Pigrims give carbon dioxide.
May is the second best month,
Proceeding just before June,
With flowers blooming everywhere,
And kites will be flown.
June and July are summer’s day on,
On the beach, on the sand and on the Sun,
Riding a cruise or a raft on the sea, All you do is have fun.
August is all I have left to say,
Leaves falling down every which way,
Back-to-school shopping and books as well,
And September may come soon, so all I can say,
Is that June and July have been put at bay.
